Fabrication Technician – Mill & Calendars Department

Pay: $21.05/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM
CURRENTLY WORKING MANDATORY OT, FRI & SAT 11AM-5PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and motivated Fabrication Technicians to join our Mill & Calendars Department at a leading rubber tire patch manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used to mix, mill, and calendar rubber materials while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mills, calendars, and related fabrication equipment.
• Load raw rubber materials into production machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
• Measure and inspect materials to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Follow production schedules and work orders accurately.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with material handling and other production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
