**Maintenance Needed in Sebring**
*Shift- 6a-2:30p M-F
*$25/hr
Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of building electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment, material handling systems, and dust collection equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems from 24V to 480V, including motors, controls, sensors, and VFDs.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to established schedules to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with production personnel to prioritize equipment repairs.
• Perform bearing replacement, pipe fitting, lubrication, equipment alignment, and mechanical repairs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
• Complete electrical installations and repairs as needed.
• Review, prioritize, and complete maintenance work orders accurately.
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment history.
• Inspect equipment and facilities for safety concerns and correct or report hazards.
• Operate forklifts, MEWPs (man lifts), and utilize Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS) safely.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls, weekend coverage, and overtime when required.
• Participate in required safety and technical training.
• Report repair progress and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and standard operating practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and facility operations.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to five years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems from 24V through 480V.
• Knowledge of bearings, lubrication, torque requirements, clearances, and interference fits.
• Experience with pipe fitting and electrical repairs.
• Ability to read technical specifications and follow written instructions.
• Familiarity with Permit to Work systems is a plus.
• PLC experience and industrial automation knowledge are preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, twist, push, pull, climb, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in noisy industrial environments and around moving machinery.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as needed.
