Canton Mancan is assisting a local company in placing a skilled Fabricator/Welder .The ideal candidate has experience with metal fabrication, blueprint reading, MIG and TIG welding, and operating fabrication equipment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay is BOE:$ 25-28

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components.
Cut, shape, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal and structural components using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and machining equipment.
Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding in accordance with ASME codes and company quality standards.
Measure and inspect fabricated parts using precision instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Fabricate and assemble frames, guards, piping, and mechanical components, including pipe threading and rigging as required.
Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform machining, plasma cutting, press brake operations, soldering, and general fabrication tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications:
Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating practices.
Proven experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing.
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
Experience using calipers, tape measures, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment.
Working knowledge of ASME welding and fabrication codes and standards.
Solid mechanical aptitude, including experience with pipe threading, rigging, and mechanical assembly.
Basic math skills for measurements, layouts, and fabrication calculations.
Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
Machining experience preferred.
Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
