Job Description: Filler Operator
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position with a Monday-Friday 9am -5pm ( may need to stay over depending on work schedule for the day )
$16.00 hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Filler Operator to join our production team. This position is primarily responsible for operating the filling station, where bottles and jars are accurately filled from the product hopper. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities
• Operate the filler machine to accurately fill bottles and jars with product.
• Monitor product flow from the hopper to ensure consistent fill levels.
• Inspect containers for proper fill volume, quality, and appearance.
• Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain production efficiency.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
• Report equipment issues, product defects, or production concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality control requirements.
• Assist with other production or packaging duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed.
Work Environment
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Standing for the majority of the shift.
• Exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and production materials.
• Must follow all safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
