Mancan Staffing has teamed up with a busy Akron warehouse who is seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join their team!
Requirements:
• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Good driving record
• Pass background check and company road test
• Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA requirements
Job Duties:
• Safely operate tractor-trailer and follow all DOT regulations
• Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections
• Pick up and deliver loads safely and on schedule
• Load/unload trailers as needed, including hand-bombing up to 75 lbs.
• Complete required logs, delivery paperwork and inspection reports
• Communicate with dispatch regarding assignments, delays and issues
• Report accidents, incidents, vehicle damage and other concerns promptly
• Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in required training
Working Conditions:
• Extended periods of sitting and driving
• Highway traffic and varying weather conditions
• Some multi-day runs may be required
