Mancan is working with a food manufacturing company in Berlin looking for a packer. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm with occasional overtime on Saturdays as needed during peak periods. Pay is $16.50/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging equipment
- Assemble and label packaging components (clamshells, vacuum seal bags, trays, etc.)
- Accurately weigh, portion, and package product
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with GMP and food safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure daily production targets are met
- Assist with setup and breakdown of work stations and equipment as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food production or packaging is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in cold environments
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities
