Northfield Mancan is assisting a company in the Northfield area who is looking for Equipment Installers. This will be a 1st shift position 8am-5pm and the starting pay is $20 an hour.
You will be responsible for installing accessibility and mobility equipment in customers’ homes to improve safety, independence, and ease of movement. This position may involve the installation of wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, grab bars, handrails, and other mobility or accessibility products.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions, may be required.
The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and able to accurately measure and assemble equipment according to specifications. Responsibilities include loading and transporting materials, preparing job sites, installing equipment safely and securely, troubleshooting installation issues, and ensuring each completed project meets company and customer expectations. Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are important.
