Production Worker

Mancan is partnering with a company in Holmesville that is looking for dependable and motivated production workers to join their team. Openings are available in multiple departments. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate, based on attitude, attendance, and overall job performance.
Pay: $15.00/hour. Additional $1.50/hour attendance incentive for working all scheduled hours during the week
Schedule:
CNC & Automatic Machine Operation: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Assembly: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Assembly:
- Assemble components efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Keep parts organized by size and accurately track production on timesheets.
- Measure parts to ensure they meet specifications and assembly requirements.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
CNC Operation:
- Safely operate CNC machinery and load parts into machines.
- Monitor equipment during production to ensure machines are operating properly.
- Make necessary adjustments or interventions, including flipping parts and adjusting programs as needed.
- Use dial calipers and technical drawings to verify measurements and maintain accuracy.
- Monitor hydraulic and cutting oil levels and replenish fluids as needed.
Automatic Machine Operation:
- Operate automatic machinery to efficiently produce quality parts.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Clean finished parts and remove burrs using appropriate deburring tools.
- Perform visual inspections and use go/no-go gauges to verify product quality.
- Periodically measure parts with dial calipers to ensure they meet specifications.
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while meeting daily goals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work.
- Experience using dial calipers and reading technical drawings is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move heavier objects when required.
- Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn new processes and equipment.
