Packaging Line Worker

Mancan is partnering with a food manufacturing company in Berlin that is looking for dependable and motivated packers to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.
Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM with occasional Saturdays as needed during peak production periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble, label, and prepare various packaging materials, including clamshells, vacuum-seal bags, trays, and other containers.
- Accurately weigh, portion, and package products according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area while following GMP and food safety guidelines.
- Work effectively with team members to meet daily production and quality goals.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down workstations and equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or packaging is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working in a cold environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and production standards.
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing production schedules and priorities.
