Mancan is partnering with a company in Millersburg that is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate, based on attitude, attendance, and overall job performance.
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM. Fridays: Half or full shift depending on production needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, organize, and stack lumber on the production line.
- Inspect wood products for defects and ensure finished products meet quality standards.
- Assist machine operators with loading, unloading, and feeding materials.
- Perform sanding and basic finishing work on furniture components and stair parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Assist other departments and perform additional duties as needed to support production.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 20–30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tasks and processes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable working around wood dust and related manufacturing conditions.
- Previous experience in the lumber industry, pallet manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
