NOW HIRING: PLANT MANAGER Mancan Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Plant Manager for a well-established private process manufacturing company in Elizabeth, PA. Pay: $80,000–$110,000 per year This is a key leadership opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional who is passionate about operational excellence, developing strong teams, improving processes, and driving results in a multi-shift production facility. What You’ll Do: Lead day-to-day plant operations, including production, scheduling, and workforce management Promote and maintain a strong safety culture Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery, inventory, and labor efficiency Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve performance Lead continuous improvement initiatives and reduce waste and operating costs Ensure products meet quality and design specifications Establish and maintain efficient production systems and processes Manage inventory accuracy and ensure on-time shipments Train, coach, and develop employees while building strong teams and succession plans Plan for short- and long-term capital equipment needs Directly supervise production managers and supervisory staff Work collaboratively with supply chain, technical, and finance teams What We’re Looking For: 5–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent related experience preferred Manufacturing experience in mineral processing, chemicals, refractory, and/or construction products preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented approach Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and workforce management Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office Why Consider This Opportunity?
