Mancan Staffing is partnering with an Ashtabula-area facility seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join their team on 1st shift!
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on welding and fabrication and wants to work on a variety of **industrial and commercial fabrication projects**.
🔧 Welding & Fabrication Responsibilities
🔥 Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
🛠️ Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components
📏 Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials
📋 Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications
🔩 Fit and assemble fabricated steel components
✅ Inspect completed welds and finished products for quality
🧹 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
⚙️ Utilize fabrication tools, grinders, saws, and other shop equipment as needed
🏗️ What You'll Be Working On
This facility handles a variety of commercial and industrial fabrication projects, ranging from smaller precision components to large, heavy-duty steel fabrications and equipment.
No two projects are exactly alike, making this a great opportunity for a welder who enjoys variety and taking a project from raw material to a completed product.
👷 What We're Looking For
✔️ Previous welding and/or fabrication experience preferred
✔️ MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding experience
✔️ Ability to accurately measure and work from specifications
✔️ Familiarity with common fabrication tools and equipment
✔️ Strong attention to detail and weld quality
✔️ Ability to safely handle materials in a fabrication environment
✔️ Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
💵 Pay: $15.00–$23.00/hour based on experience
