**Job Opportunity: Forklift Operator**
We’re seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team! This role is vital to our shipping and receiving operations, and we’re looking for dependable candidates with at least 2 years of forklift experience who are committed to stability and reliability in their work history (no job hoppers, please).
**Job Details:**
- **Position**: Forklift Operator
- **Shift**: Mon-Fri 7:30a-4p
- **Pay Rate**: $19.00 per hour
- **Location**: Dalton
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate forklifts to safely load and unload products onto and from trucks.
- Move materials within the facility, ensuring secure handling of items that may roll or shift on the forks.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and follow all safety guidelines.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy by placing items in designated locations.
- Work collaboratively with the shipping and receiving team to ensure efficient operations.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of **2 years of experience** as a forklift operator, with expertise in handling products that may roll or shift.
- Stable work history with a commitment to reliability.
- Valid forklift certification (if required by the company).
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
