## Machine Operator – $17.00/HR – Temp-to-Hire
**Parkman, OH Area**
Mancan Staffing is seeking Machine Operators** for a growing manufacturing company in the **Parkman, Ohio area**. This is a **temp-to-hire opportunity** with a **second-chance employer**.
### Pay
**$17.00 per hour**
### 2nd shift
Monday–Thursday: 4:30 PM–2:30 AM
Training: Candidates are preferred to train Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM for one week.
### Job Responsibilities
* Operate assigned machines and lathes to manufacture products according to specifications.
* Operate equipment within established programmed runtime requirements.
* Maintain a strong focus on **quality**, identifying and addressing potential issues before defective products are produced.
* Inspect and measure finished products according to specifications.
* Use **calipers and a comparator** to verify product quality and dimensions.
* Maintain calipers and measuring equipment in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate production logs using the **VET system**.
* Immediately notify a supervisor of equipment, tooling, or lathe problems.
* Ask for assistance when needed to prevent defects, material waste, and unnecessary downtime.
* Monitor material levels and notify supervisors when materials are running low or production runs are nearing completion.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Maintain dependable attendance and report to work on time as scheduled.
* Perform additional production duties as assigned.
### Qualifications
* Previous **machine operation or manufacturing experience** preferred.
* Experience operating **lathes** is a plus.
* Experience using **calipers, comparators, or other precision measuring tools** preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Basic computer skills for production documentation.
* Ability to follow specifications and established production procedures.
* Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.
* Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
