Location: Apple Creek, OH
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-Hire
Pay: $19.00/hour
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday, Must be able to train on 1st shift and work over time.
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable Machine Operators to join a local manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or factory experience who is comfortable working around machinery and wants the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
Job Responsibilities
* Load small stub shafts into the machine for processing.
* Operate machinery by using designated controls and buttons.
* Safely unload completed parts from the machine.
* Maintain a steady production pace of approximately 100 parts per hour.
* Handle stub shafts weighing less than 30 lbs.
* Set up machinery and make adjustments as needed.
* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
* Perform repetitive physical activities including standing, sitting, walking, stooping, and bending.
* Work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
Qualifications
* Previous manufacturing, production, or factory experience preferred.
* **CNC experience is a plus but not required.**
* Basic math skills.
* Ability to safely handle materials weighing less than 30 lbs.
* Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, and bend throughout the workday.
* Reliable attendance and punctuality.
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
* Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Work Schedule
* 8-hour shifts.
* Includes a 10-minute break and 15-minute paid lunch break.
