## Press Room Laborer / Operator
**Pay:** $15.00/hour
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
**Overtime:** Additional overtime may be required

### Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable **Press Room Laborer/Operator** to assist with daily production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves operating various types of equipment to bend, form, buff, grind, straighten, and assemble metal parts.
### Job Duties
* Operate production equipment used to manufacture, grind, buff, form, or assemble metal parts.
* Lift and position materials and workpieces into designated machine areas.
* Bend, straighten, form, and finish metal components as required.
* Assist with maintaining supplies and materials to keep production running efficiently.
* Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements.
* Accurately complete quality check sheets, production tags, and other required documentation.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
* Work cooperatively with other production employees to meet daily production goals.
### Qualifications
* High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
* **Basic working knowledge of presses** preferred.
* Ability to use and read **calipers, micrometers, and tape measures**.
* Basic math skills.
* Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
* Dependable attendance and punctuality.
* Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
### Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on industrial position that requires standing for extended periods and frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying. Employees must be able to frequently lift up to **10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.** Candidates must also be comfortable working **8–12 hour shifts when overtime is required**.
### Work Environment
Work is performed in an **industrial manufacturing facility** around production equipment and forklift traffic. The facility is **not climate controlled**, so employees may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, moderate noise, dirt, and dust.
