Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
Position: Full-Time
Job Summary:
A busy warehouse that manufactures custom commercial doors is seeking a motivated and energetic Wood Saw Operator to join their production team. This is a high-energy, nonstop position that requires someone who can stay focused, work efficiently, and keep up with a steady production pace. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift.
Job Duties
:
-Load pieces of wood onto a production conveyor.
-Safely operate the wood saw to cut materials to the required specifications.
-Remove cut wood from the conveyor as it exits the saw.
-Sort and load cut materials onto carts for delivery to the appropriate crate-building areas.
-Keep materials organized and production moving efficiently.
-Follow production instructions and safety procedures.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Assist with other warehouse and production duties as needed.
-Communicate with coworkers to ensure materials are properly staged for the next stage of production.
Qualifications:
-Previous wood saw, machine operation, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
-Strong work ethic and motivation to stay productive throughout the shift.
-Ability to safely operate machinery and follow detailed instructions.
-Good attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent production quality.
-Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday.
-Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
