Mancan Staffing is currently seeking an Entry-Level Manual CNC Machinist for a Chardon-based company specializing in the manufacturing of precision diamond cutting and milling tools.
🛠️ Job Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate vertical mills, surface grinders, and small lathes
• Read and interpret SolidWorks prints and manufacturing specifications
• Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
• Perform basic machining calculations and apply an understanding of geometry
• Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
📐 Qualifications:
• Previous machining experience is helpful, but candidates with the ability and willingness to train are encouraged to apply
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read and understand prints
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Wire EDM experience is a plus, but not required
