Quality Control Inspector

Massillon Mancan is assisting a local company in Hartville, OH with finding a Quality Control Technician to join their 1st shift team. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p. Pay is $16-19 BOE
Job Duties:
• Perform first-piece inspections
• Read and interpret product specifications
• Monitor operations to ensure products meet production standards
• Recommend adjustments to assembly or production processes when needed
• Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products
• Measure products using rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Accept or reject finished products based on specifications
• Follow proper scanning procedures and ensure scanning accuracy
• Remove products or materials that do not meet specifications
• Communicate inspection results with appropriate production personnel
• Record and report inspection and test data
• Use a computer to look up inventory transactions, access relevant documentation, and communicate with team members
Qualifications & Experience:
• 1 year of Quality Control experience preferred
• 1 year of manufacturing experience or similar experience
• Manufacturing experience in a plastics environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read specifications and use basic measuring equipment
• Basic computer skills
