Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of employees and work crews.
Assign work, establish priorities, and monitor progress to ensure jobs are completed on schedule.
Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and support to employees.
Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and applicable electrical codes and regulations.
Conduct or assist with job-site and workplace safety inspections.
Monitor the quality of completed work and address deficiencies as needed.
Communicate project status, scheduling concerns, staffing needs, and operational issues to management.
Train, coach, and mentor employees to improve performance and develop skills.
Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
Maintain accurate records, reports, timekeeping, and other required documentation.
Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and manpower needed to complete assignments.
Help troubleshoot operational and job-site issues and develop practical solutions.
Promote professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and good communication throughout the workforce.
Ensure employees follow company procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Assist management with employee performance evaluations and disciplinary matters when necessary.
Work with customers, contractors, vendors, and other personnel in a professional manner.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory or lead experience in the electrical, construction, manufacturing, or related industry.
Strong understanding of electrical work, job-site operations, and safety practices.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to organize multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to enforce safety and company policies consistently and fairly.
Proficiency with basic computer and administrative tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as applicable.
Electrical license or relevant trade certifications preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, and work in a variety of work environments.
Ability to safely lift and move tools, materials, and equipment as required.
Ability to work around electrical equipment, construction environments, machinery, and other job-site hazards while following appropriate safety procedures.
Ability to work varying schedules and overtime when business needs require.
