Massillon Mancan is assisting a local company in Hartville, OH in finding an experienced Maintenance Technician for their 1st shift team!
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $25+ per hour, based on experience
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician will assist the Maintenance Manager with keeping production equipment and the facility operating safely and efficiently. This position will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, facility maintenance, and assist with the installation and start-up of new equipment.
Essential Job Duties
• Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance of production equipment, including:
o Injection molding machines
o Material handling systems
o Towers and chiller systems
o Robots and conveyors
o Thermolators, welders, hot stampers, grinders, and other auxiliary equipment
• Assist with general facility maintenance, including:
o Air conditioning systems
o Dock plates and doors
o Furnaces
o Trash compactors
o Lighting
o Roofing
o Forklifts
• Assist with installation and start-up of new equipment, including:
o Injection molding machines
o Robots
o Auxiliary equipment
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
