Dietary Assistant

Mancan is working with a company in Millersburg looking for dietary workers. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Hours may vary and will consist of three 12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends. The pay is $18/hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion meals and snacks according to menus, recipes, and established procedures
- Review patient meal tickets and dietary orders to ensure meals meet prescribed diets and food restrictions
- Deliver and collection patient meal trays while providing excellent customer service
- Assist with food prep, including washing, cutting, portioning, and packaging food items
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, storage, and food service areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, and other food service equipment
- Store food properly and follow food safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous food service experience is helpful, but not required
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
