Job Title: Track and Panel Assembler / Manufacturing Associate
Location: Burgettstown, PA
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Mandatory overtime may be required on Fridays based on production demands. Saturday overtime is rare but may be required occasionally.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Position Summary
Mancan is in partnership with a local company seeking a dependable and motivated Track and Panel Assembler / Manufacturing Associate. The Track/Panel Assembler will be responsible for the final assembly of the tracks and/or
panels of high performance doors.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Team members should be flexible and willing to move between departments and tasks based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities
-Use of power and hand tools to mechanically assemble tracks and or panels. This includes
sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doors^
-Ensure products are being assembled to the highest quality by adhering to established
procedures and approved processes
-Work with the highest level of safety.
-Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times
-Use of scanners and computers to communicate production order status
-Provide feedback for process improvement opportunities that would enhance safety,
productivity, or efficiency.
-Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
-Ability to flex into other work areas as needed
-Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• General math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, such as riveting machines, drills, impact drivers, saws, pneumatic air wrenches, and tape measures
• Quick learner with the ability to work in multiple departments and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and walk for extended periods.
