Mancan Staffing is seeking a Senior Service Technician for our client in Ashland, Ohio.
This is an integration company specializing in access control, video surveillance, automated gates, perimeter technology, and related solutions. They design, install, service, and support integrated technology solutions for commercial, industrial, government, and other demanding environments.
This position is responsible for the installation, service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of access control, video surveillance, automated gates, and related technology for commercial and industrial customers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience with access control and video surveillance systems and be comfortable working independently in the field. Experience with automated access gates, gate operators, intercoms, barriers, and related access-control equipment is highly preferred.
This is a customer-facing technical position requiring strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to diagnose problems and develop practical solutions in the field.
Access Control
● Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial access control systems.
● Troubleshoot door controllers, card readers, credentials, request-to-exit devices, door position switches, locking hardware, power supplies, and related equipment.
● Configure and troubleshoot network-connected access control systems.
● Diagnose communication issues between field devices, controllers, servers, and software platforms.
● Perform system commissioning, testing, and customer walkthroughs.
● Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions or improvements.
● Work with a variety of access control platforms, including Keyscan, Rosslare, Infinias, 2N, Axis, Brivo, HID, Mercury, LenelS2, Avigilon, and comparable platforms.
● Configure and troubleshoot access control software, controllers, readers, credentials, schedules, permissions, and system communications.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
● Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined areas as required.
● Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
● Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the service territory.
Pay: $28-$30 based on experience
