Production Worker

Mancan in Northfield is assisting a local Bedford Heights company who is filling a position doing Production work. This will be 3rd shift position 7pm-7am rotating schedule and the starting pay rate will be $17 an hour. You must be able to train on 1st shift 7a-7p for a couple of weeks. This will be a temporary to permanent position and once hired in the company offers 3 and 4 day alternating work weeks with 12 hour shifts, overtime, Annual pay rate review with pay increases, holiday bonus, Low cost Health insurance, Vision, Dental, Short/Long Term Disability, 401k. Free Uniforms, Safety glasses and work boot allowances.
This company recycles Electric Vehicle batteries as well as other industrial material with metal in it. Their final product is sent out to be broken down into Nickle, Copper and Cobalt. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, knowledge of forklifts, man lifts and loader use is preferred, but we are willing to train. Able to stand for long periods of time, work in changing weather conditions and expect to get dirty occasionally; the raw product is moist and the finish product is dry/dusty.
The main duties of a production worker are but not limited to:
1: To feed raw material.
2: To collect and package finish product after processing.
3: To do housekeeping. This includes cleaning of fugitive raw and finished product.
4: Maintenance. This includes greasing bearings, clearing dropouts, cleaning conveyors and equipment, etc.
NOTE: Duties can change when need to.
