Mancan Staffing is hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator/Setup Technician for a busy metal fabrication facility in Washington, PA!
💰 Pay: $23+ per hour, based on experience
🕒 Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
📍 Washington, PA
We are looking for a highly skilled operator who can confidently set up and operate press brakes on both simple and highly complex parts while maintaining close tolerances and quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
• Set up and operate press brakes for a variety of fabrication work
• Program machine controls and perform multiple-bend setups
• Select and modify tooling to achieve precise bends
• Read and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches and templates
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, protractors, radius gauges and other precision tools
• Perform bend allowance calculations and part layouts
• Create specialized setups, tooling, shims, pin gauges and front gauges
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance
• Assist and train other operators on advanced setup techniques
• Ensure all machine safety features are properly functioning
• Set up Amada leveling rolls and operate manual and power pyramid rolls
Qualifications:
✔️ Press brake setup/operator experience strongly preferred
✔️ Machine operating experience
✔️ Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and forming processes
✔️ Ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
✔️ High school or technical school graduate preferred
✔️ Comfortable using hand tools and precision measuring equipment
✔️ Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
