Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dependable representative to assist customers in a plastics showroom. This position combines customer service, sales support, and order processing to help customers select products and ensure orders are accurate.
Responsibilities
• Greet showroom customers and identify their product needs.
• Explain plastic product options, sizes, colors, and available services.
• Prepare quotes, enter orders, and process payments accurately.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse staff regarding availability, custom orders, and pickup times.
• Follow up on quotes and provide order status updates.
• Address customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain organized product displays, samples, and sales materials.
• Keep accurate customer records and maintain a clean showroom.
Qualifications
• Previous retail sales, showroom, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
• Attention to detail when preparing quotes and entering orders.
• Ability to learn plastic materials, product applications, and terminology.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday and handle product samples as needed.
