Mancan Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing facility in Chardon, OH, in search of an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team!
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual with hands-on industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing machinery, and keeping production equipment operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and be comfortable working independently to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
🔹 Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on industrial manufacturing equipment.
🔹 Perform maintenance and repairs on CNC machines, ACME machines, and other production equipment.
🔹 Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble machinery and mechanical components.
🔹 Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, schematics, and repair instructions.
🔹 Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve machine performance.
🔹 Identify equipment malfunctions and implement effective repair solutions.
🔹 Inspect machinery to ensure proper operation, safety, and efficiency.
🔹 Assist with equipment adjustments, installations, and general facility maintenance as needed.
🔹 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
🔹 Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
✅ Minimum of 2 years of industrial machine repair or maintenance experience required.
✅ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
✅ Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and/or mechanical equipment issues.
✅ Previous experience maintaining CNC, ACME, or similar industrial machinery preferred.
✅ Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
✅ Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
✅ Ability to work independently while also following direction from supervisors.
✅ Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a dependable work ethic.
✅ High school diploma or GED preferred.
✅ Reliable transportation to the Chardon facility.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
✔️ Ability to stand and remain active throughout the shift.
✔️ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
✔️ Comfortable performing hands-on maintenance and repair work.
✔️ Ability to bend, reach, and work around industrial equipment as needed.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
🔸 Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
🔸 Must be willing to assist with maintenance needs throughout the facility.
🔸 Overtime may be available depending on production demands.
