Mancan Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our client in Ashland, Ohio.
This is an integration company specializing in access control, video surveillance, automated gates, perimeter technology, and related solutions. They design, install, service, and support integrated technology solutions for commercial, industrial, government, and other demanding environments.
• This position is for a Manufacturing Technician/PODS Manufacturing and Assembly.
• Working with Electronic Board Wiring and Electrical Integration
• Mobile Unit Construction and Configuration
• Incoming Unit Inspection, Defaulting, and Staging ,Refurbishment and Restoration, Testing and Quality Control
• Painting and Finishing
• Material Handling, Logistics, Final Staging and Deployment Preparation
• Quality, Safety, and Documentation, along with Team Collaboration.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+Years Manufacturing, Assembly, Fabrication, Industrial, Automotive, telecommunications, or related experience preferred.
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude, Basic understanding of DC electrical systems
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, BOMS, and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment, and basic fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measures accurately interpret dimensions. Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, and dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
● Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
● Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined areas as required.
● Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
● Ability to travel to customer locations throughout the service territory.
Pay: $32-$36 based on experience
