Production Tester Lab Technician

A company in Sunbury, OH is looking for Test Technicians to join their team! This position involves testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electronic and mechanical components to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. Candidates should have experience in manufacturing assembly, electronics, testing, or troubleshooting, depending on experience level.
Job Duties/Qualifications
- Testing and inspecting products to ensure quality and proper performance
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating components and assemblies
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders
- Using equipment such as multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, microscopes, and precision hand tools
- Performing soldering, wiring, and electronic component assembly
- Identifying defects and making necessary adjustments or repairs
- Recording test results and documenting quality issues
- Following quality standards and safety procedures, including ESD-safe practices
- Performing basic math calculations and collecting test data
- Working with small components while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Lifting up to 25 lbs
- All other job duties as needed
Experience Requirements:
- Test Technician I: 1+ year of related manufacturing assembly, testing, or troubleshooting experience
- Test Technician II: 3+ years of related experience
- Test Technician III: 5+ years of related experience
- Test Technician IV: 10+ years of related experience; an associate degree or technical education in electronics or a related field is preferred
- Must be able to pass a soldering test; certification requirements may vary by level
