## Job Description
**Mancan Staffing is currently seeking experienced Structural Steel Welders** for a manufacturing facility in the Niles, Ohio area!
We are looking for skilled, dependable welders with experience in **Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)** and structural steel fabrication. Qualified candidates must be familiar with **AWS D1.1 welding standards** and be able to demonstrate their welding abilities through a hands-on weld test.

## Job Responsibilities
- Perform Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) on structural steel components.
- Weld steel materials according to AWS D1.1 requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare materials and surfaces for welding.
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain consistent weld quality and meet production expectations.
- Follow all company safety procedures and welding specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned.
## Job Requirements
- **Previous structural steel welding experience required.**
- **Flux Core welding experience required.**
- Knowledge of **AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code – Steel**.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols.
- Must successfully complete a **hands-on weld test**.
- **Must have personal welding gear** for the weld test and job duties.
- Must successfully complete a background check.
- Must pass a **10-panel drug test**.
- Must submit an updated resume.
- Must complete an interview.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and transportation.
## Pay & Schedule
- **Hourly Pay:** $24.00–$26.00 based on experience
- **Shift:** 2nd Shift
- **Hours:** 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- **Shift Differential:** Additional shift differential available
