## Job Description
**Mancan Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and hardworking Landscaping Laborer for a position in the Cortland, Ohio area!**
We are looking for a dependable individual with previous landscaping experience who enjoys working outdoors and is comfortable performing physically demanding labor.
**This is an outdoor position requiring employees to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.**
The ideal candidate must be physically capable of handling strenuous landscaping duties, have a strong work ethic, and maintain excellent attendance.
This is a **temp-to-hire opportunity**, with the potential to become a permanent employee after successfully completing the required assignment period.
## Job Responsibilities
- Perform general landscaping and property maintenance duties.
- Mow lawns, trim grass, and edge landscaped areas.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Plant, mulch, weed, and maintain landscaped areas.
- Remove debris, leaves, branches, and other materials.
- Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials and equipment.
- Perform digging, raking, shoveling, and other physically demanding tasks.
- Maintain clean and organized outdoor work areas.
- Follow all safety procedures when operating landscaping equipment.
- Assist with additional outdoor maintenance duties as assigned.
## Job Requirements
- **Previous landscaping experience required.**
- Must be comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor labor.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, carry, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Experience operating landscaping tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
- **Excellent attendance and dependability are a must.**
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be available to start at 8:00 AM and work until daily assignments are completed.
- Willingness to work approximately 40 hours per week.
