### Job Opportunity: 1st Shift Slitter Operator – Temp-to-Hire

**Pay Rate:** $16.25 per hour
**Employment Type:** Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
**Overtime:** Mandatory overtime as needed on Saturdays
We’re looking for dependable and detail-oriented **Slitter Operators** to join a local manufacturing team in Alliance! This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a full-time, temp-to-hire position with the potential for long-term employment.
In this role, you’ll set up and operate slitting machines to precisely cut and rewind materials, such as paper and plastic, into smaller rolls or sheets according to production specifications.
### Key Responsibilities
- Set up and safely operate slitting machines.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Adjust machine speed, tension, and blade settings to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect materials and finished products to meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Track production information, including materials, output, and downtime.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production guidelines.
### Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally; lifting aids and team lifting are available.
- Frequent bending, moving, and physical activity throughout the shift.
### Schedule & Availability
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- **Mandatory Saturday overtime as needed**
- Must be dependable and willing to work additional hours when required.
