Mancan is helping assist a Hudson Bed liner/Truck Accessories company looking for an Accessory Technician!
1st shift only 8am-3:30pm with 1/2 lunch
$14/hr, more BOE
Accessory Technician will be responsible for proper preparation and installation of
after-market automotive accessories (i.e. tonneau covers, step bars). Will also assist in other
duties as assigned by the shop manager.
Duties and Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Apply professional customer service skills while working with customer vehicles.
Prepare vehicles for application/installation (wiping out truck beds, removing adhesive,
pressure washing undercarriage, etc)
Professionally install After-Market Accessories as required (tonneau covers, step bars,
rain visors, mud flaps, etc)
Follow safety measures for personal and vehicle safety.
Report parts and supplies that are needed for operation.
Breakdown cardboard and place it in a recycling dumpster.
Empty facility garbage cans into trash dumpster.
Education and Experience:
HS Diploma or GED
Love trucks, jeeps or cars.
1+ year automotive experience/dealership experience (a plus but not required)
Required Skills:
Hand-Eye coordination
Time management skills
Attention to detail
Able to read a tape measure
Ability to read and understand basic to complex installation guides
Able to use both metric/standard wrenches/sockets both hand and battery operated.
Able to use screwdrivers, allen wrenches, and other miscellaneous tools as needed.
Able to lift (up to 100lbs, team-lift), bend, use a creeper, climb into truck beds, and stand
to complete installation tasks.
