Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician needed on in Austinburg for a rapidly growing facility. Hours would be Monday-Friday. 7am-3pm. Pay is based upon experience paying between $30-$34 an hour.

Principal Responsibilities:
Within the limits skills, company policies, procedures and company goals, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and equipment and the preventative maintenance of the equipment as well as assuring that items needed for repairs of any nature are ordered or on hand as required. Takes daily direction from Maintenance Lead.
Primary Job Functions:
• Assist maintenance lead with the preventive maintenance of both current and new equipment. Ensure maintenance schedule is current and complied with on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain equipment on a daily basis by prioritizing repairs based on production needs and urgencies.
• Repair electrical components as deemed appropriate based on knowledge and skill level.
• Maintain an up dated list of outside contractors and utilize outside contractors as needed and requested.
• Perform mold maintenance, mold inventory and mold storage control per policy and procedure.
• Comply with all federal, state and local regulation as needed and required including but not limited to fire, OSHA, water and EPA.
• Assist co-workers with diagnosing and solving production and assembly issues as related to equipment.
• Assure that all tools required for the job are kept in working order and in proper storage area.
• Assists with property beautification and snow removal work performed by contractors.
• Repair small electrical hand tools.
• Perform all other assigned duties.
Secondary Job Functions:
• Assure a neat and tidy work environment in maintenance areas.
• Assist with snow removal from walks and doors as required or requested
• Assist with the outside maintenance of property and disposal of debris.

Knowledge and Skills
• Working knowledge of phase 3 electrical systems
• Ability to read blue prints
• Knowledge of natural gas plumbing and its use as a product
• An understanding of and ability to perform welding practices and machinery used
• Basic computer skills

Education and Specific Training
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training in Industrial Maintenance is preferred. Welding knowledge or certification. Electrical expierence is a plus
