# Packaging Assistant – 3rd Shift
**Pay:** $16.50 per hour\
**Shift:** 3rd Shift – Sunday Night through Thursday Night\
**Hours:** 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
### Position Overview
Mancan Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and motivated **Packaging Assistant** for a 3rd shift opportunity! This is an excellent entry-level position for someone looking to get started in a manufacturing environment. The Packaging Assistant is responsible for preparing boxes, packaging finished products for shipment, and ensuring materials are accurately packaged and ready to go.
On-the-job training is provided, including a three-week training evaluation.
### Job Responsibilities
- Prepare boxes and package completed products for shipment.
- Safely operate pallet jacks to move products, materials, and boxes to designated areas.
- Verify materials against paperwork to ensure packaging accuracy.
- Complete production records, inspection forms, and other required paperwork.
- Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
### Qualifications
- Entry-level position; previous experience is not required.
- General educational background.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely move materials and operate a pallet jack.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment.
