POSITION OVERVIEW
Mancan Staffing has partnered with a company in the Niles, Ohio area that is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to join its team!
We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping machinery running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience performing preventative maintenance, repairing industrial equipment, and disassembling and rebuilding machinery.
🔧 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble machines as needed.
- Lubricate and grease machinery to ensure proper operation.
- Perform oil changes and other routine equipment maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Replace worn or damaged machine components.
- Assist with equipment repairs and adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
✅ QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to tear down and rebuild industrial machinery.
- Experience with preventative maintenance, lubrication, and oil changes.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus!
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a plus!
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work varying hours.
