Mancan in conjunction with a Washington PA Manufacturing company is looking for an Administrative Assistant for their Purchasing department!
Summary of Position:
Assists the Purchasing Manager with administrative functions and provide support for purchasing activities.
Create and expedite purchase orders
Review material request logs and shortage reports
Process drop shipments
Address all requests regarding order issues in a timely manner
Answer phones calls and emails and route to appropriate person and/or department.
Coordinate with other departments for resources as required
Assist in yearly physical and as needed inventory counts
Completes all other duties as assigned
Able to comply with the company attendance policy
Must be organized and conscientious
Must be willing to interact with all levels of employment
Flexible with demonstrated ability to multi-task
Sense of priority and urgency
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
This Position is Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 and pay will be based on experience. This is a temp to perm opportunity.
