Mancan Staffing is hiring in Daisytown! We’re looking for a CNC machinist for a small family owned job shop that manufactures custom steel components. If you’re looking for a machining job that allows you to work independently and have a wide variety in your work, this is the PERFECT opportunity for you! This position includes using G-code to program Haas lathes and run them to complete parts according to drawings. This is a first shift Monday through Friday 6am-2pm, occasionally staying late for overtime. Pay is based on experience starting at $25.00 per hour. The owners provide a home cooked meal for lunch a few times a week and upon permanent hire they offer paid vacation and holidays, 401K with a company match after 1 year, employer paid health and dental insurance.
Requirements:
• Able to lift 45+ lbs
• Knowledgeable in using G code to program CNC machines
• Capable of reading blueprints
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts
