Mancan Staffing is hiring in New Eagle! We’re looking for an Inventory Costing & Purchasing Manager to oversee sourcing, inventory, and costing management functions of a local manufacturing company. This job includes making sure the company’s operational needs are met by bidding, sourcing, and contracting considering price, quality and delivery while ensuring the continuity of supplies. This is a full time position and pay will be based on experience.
Job Duties:
• Ensure proper paperwork and transactions are followed
• Manage cycle counts reconciliation
• Updating standard costs, analyzing purchase price variance, production variance, and inventory adjustments
• Developing inventive and cost-effective procurement strategies
• Vendor/Supplier management
• Contract review and negotiation
• Analyzing purchase price variance and preparing procurement reports
Requirements:
• 7-10 years Accounting/Cost Accounting/Inventory Control/Purchasing/Supply Chain experience required.
• Bachelor in Business Management/Accounting/Logistics/Supply Chain or commensurate experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics 365
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles concerning inventory, costs, sales and gross margin.
• Ability to retrieve information from ERP System, analyze the data, and report findings to management
• Capable of adapting to changes in direct/approach with a project quickly
• Importing materials and working with freight forwarders, customs, ports, and trucking.
