Mancan is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to work in the receiving department of a specialty manufacturing company in Eighty-Four PA. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse by accurately receiving inbound shipments and verifying the accuracy and quantities of goods received. This is a full-time position with a shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a competitive pay rate of $15.50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and quality of goods received.
• Unload and move incoming products using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Compare received items to purchase orders, packing lists, and other documents to verify accuracy and quantities.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or defects in the received items to the supervisor.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of received shipments, including relevant documentation and inventory management systems.
• Organize and store received items in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to accurately count and document quantities of goods received.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is a plus.
