Mancan Staffing is currently seeking skilled and self-motivated individuals to join a local manufacturing company at their clean and climate-controlled facility located in Eighty-Four, PA.
Responsibilities:
As a Manual Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process, operating manual mills, lathes, drill presses, punch presses, and bandsaws to fabricate custom parts according to customer blueprints and specifications. You will work with a variety of materials including aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and titanium, demonstrating your precision and craftsmanship to produce high-quality components. Additionally, during slower periods, you will be expected to assist in other departments, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience operating manual mills, lathes, drill presses, punch presses, and bandsaws.
Material Knowledge: Proficiency in working with aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and titanium.
Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret customer blueprints and specifications accurately.
Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Adaptability: Willingness to assist in other departments during downtimes to maximize productivity.
Work Ethic: Strong dedication to producing high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
Team Player: Collaborative attitude to contribute to a small staff environment.
Shift Availability: Available to work from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the option for overtime on Fridays.
