Mancan Staffing is seeking a proficient Mechanical CAD Drafter with a light experience background to join a leading manufacturing client in Canonsburg, PA. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects in a collaborative work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Update and Enhance Documentation: Maintain and update drawings and bill of materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Detailed Documentation: Transform concept sketches into meticulously detailed documents, ensuring precision.
Correct Markups: Collaborate with various departments to address and correct markups, facilitating seamless project progression.
Deadline Management: Effectively manage deadlines across multiple projects, prioritizing tasks for timely completion.
Cross-Team Communication: Foster communication with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and purchasing teams to align project objectives.
Drafting Standards: Make informed decisions regarding drafting standards during the documentation process to ensure consistency.
Support and Collaboration: Provide support to peers and management on internal projects, promoting a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Education: Associate Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency: Proficient in CAD software, demonstrating competence in creating and modifying designs.
• Technical Competence: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring accurate translation into documentation.
• Organization: Well-organized with strong attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks.
• Time Management: Demonstrated ability to adhere to schedules and meet project deadlines.
• 3D Modeling: Experience in 3D modeling is an advantage, showcasing a comprehensive skill set.
