Pump Tester

Mancan Staffing is hiring a pump tester in Robinson Township! This role focuses on hydro testing and calibrating pumps to ensure leak-free piping and compliance with Engineering standards. It also involves confirming accurate drawings.
Responsibilities:
Synchronize Test Department schedule with Production/Engineering needs.
Identify and report drawing and paperwork discrepancies to Test Supervisor and Engineering.
Conduct functional tests, pump calibrations, and pressure tests.
Maintain quality control records, test forms, and time logs.
Label/tag systems for easy identification.
Verify spare parts against the order's Bills of Materials and store them in the Test Department for shipping with the skid(s).
Ensure proper upkeep of departmental tools.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols.
Perform minor, agreed-upon repairs on skids.
Report defective parts to QC for NCMR processing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.
High School diploma or equivalent education.
Proficiency in mechanical principles and various measurement techniques.
Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
Demonstrated manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools.
Flexibility in adapting to shifting priorities.
Effective collaboration skills, both independently and in a team.
Willingness to work overtime and in other departments as needed.
Strong mathematical proficiency.
Mechanical acumen for analyzing mechanical and electro-mechanical system failures, with expertise in interpreting schematic drawings.
Pay Range: $19 - $22 per hour
Shift: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
