Saw Operator

Mancan Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented individual for a FULL-TIME immediate opening as a Saw Operator for our client in Norwalk.
Positions are on 2nd shift 5pm-1:30am
Pay Starts at $16/Hr
Applicant must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math to set stops and guides for the specified length of each job. While you operate the machine, it is important to look for any defects or issues. Applicants for this position should have one to three years of previous experience.
Saw Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths
• Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues
• Ability to read a tape measure
Saw Operator Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Experience operating a saw
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand for entire shift
• Attention to detail
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
