As a TIG Welder, your primary responsibility is to perform precision welding tasks using the TIG welding process. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of welded components, reading blueprints, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Duties:

1. Materials and Equipment Procurement: Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and equipment required for TIG welding, ensuring they meet project specifications.

2. Workpiece Preparation: Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers to ensure proper fit and alignment.

3. Welding Operation: Operate TIG welding equipment and other power and hand tools, such as arc welders, bugging machines, and scrapers, to join and repair various materials, including fiberglass, iron, plastic, and copper.

4. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and codes to understand the specifications and requirements of each welding project.

5. Welding on Diverse Materials: Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials, including but not limited to fiberglass, iron, plastic, and copper, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.

6. Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints for quality, ensuring they meet industry and company standards for strength, appearance, and structural integrity.

7. Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment by conducting regular inspections and performing necessary maintenance tasks.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the welding process.

Job Requirements:
1. Certification: Must be able to pass a TIG weld test.
2. Experience: Previous experience in TIG welding is required. The ability to demonstrate proficiency in TIG welding techniques is essential.
3. Fabrication and Blueprint Reading: Experience with fabrication and the ability to read and interpret welding blueprints are advantageous.
4. Measurement Skills: Ability to accurately read a tape measure to ensure precise measurements.
5. Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
6. Background Check and Drug Screen: Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening as part of the employment requirements.

Hours will be Monday-Thursday 6a-4:30p with the possibility of overtime. This position starts out at $18-$22/HR. Must be willing to take a Drug Test.
