TIG Welder

Mancan Staffing is partnering with a reputable company in Smithville, OH, currently seeking an experienced Welder to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the fabrication of high-quality metal products in a warehouse setting.
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Salary:** $17.00 - $22.00 per hour based on Experience
**Shifts Available:** 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm for a standard 8 hour shift but must be willing to work 10 hr. days and occasional Saturdays as needed
**Education:** High school or equivalent (Preferred)
**Responsibilities:**
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
- Install and repair various equipment and components.
- Read, understand, and follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in fabricating, welding, manufacturing, or related fields for at least 2 years.
- Familiarity with fabricating and welding equipment, tools, and procedures.
- Knowledge of engineering blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to handle a physical workload.
**Specifics:**
- Strong fabrication skills required, with proficiency in GTAW (Tig) and GMAW (Mig).
- Positions primarily at our Smithville facility, with a willingness to work at our Mansfield facility as needed.
