Mancan is looking for a Fabricator/Fitter in the Warren Area. This is a temp to hire position on 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:45am-5pm. You will have a 3 day weekend. Pay Rate is based on Experience, $22.50HR.
The Ideal Candidate must be able to read a tape measure, lift up to 50lbs, and be able to stand for long periods of time.
If considered for this position, there will be other duties assigned as well such as cutting, drilling and fitting parts accurately from an assembly blueprint. Initially, you will probably spend most of your day sitting, cutting parts and learning about how our products are made.
In order to be considered, you will need to pass a Measuring test, Weld Test, Resume and interview. Upon completion, you will also take a 10 panel Drug Test.

FABRICATOR/ Fitter
Summary of Responsibilities:
• This position will measure, cut and assemble materials in a safe, orderly manner for
production of products
Specific Duties:
• Ability to perform this work proficiently at a fast pace
• Reading and understanding blueprints/job specifications
• Measuring and cutting material to specifications
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together.
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances
• Selecting, measuring, cutting and joining appropriate metals to specifications
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage
• Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools
• Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly.
Job Requirements:
• Reliable/Dependable
• Minimum 1-year experience MIG Welding
• Ability to perform manual labor
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to perform work proficiently at a fast pace
• Open minded and willing to learn company process.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor
• Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
Physical Requirements:
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situation
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
• The ability to perform manual work such as bending and lifting heavy parts
