General Laborer

Mancan is working with a company in Loudonville seeking a general laborer. This could turn into a permanent position for the right candidate based upon attitude, performance, and attendance. The pay is $14 per hour. The hours are Monday-Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm with some overtime on Fridays as needed.
As a general laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality of our cardboard packaging products. Your primary responsibilities will include trimming and pulling edges off cardboard packaging materials, conducting quality control checks, and contributing to the efficient and smooth operation of the packaging process.
Key Responsibilities:
Cardboard Trimming:
- Trim excess edges and materials from cardboard packaging using hands or scissors as needed.
- Ensure precision and consistency in trimming to meet quality standards.
Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of cardboard packaging to identify defects, irregularities, or damages.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required.
- Manual dexterity to tear edges off cardboard products.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects in cardboard packaging.
