Are you a skilled and experienced Equipment Mechanic seeking a challenging opportunity in a dynamic welding fabrication environment?
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Equipment Mechanic to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery used in our welding fabrication operations. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding and fabrication equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify root causes.
Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal downtime and efficient equipment operation.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Equipment Mechanic, preferably in a welding or fabrication environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for maintaining digital records.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation:
The starting pay for this position is between $25 to $29 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for advancement, and a positive working environment.
